2019/2020 Awarded Premierships

In line with Baseball SA’s Local Playing Rules & Conditions, specifically Rule 8.3.3.1 (listed below), the Board deems COVID-19 “circumstances beyond Baseball SA’s control” which has unfortunately prevented the rescheduling of any finals, causing games to be abandoned and the season to be over. Therefore, we will be awarding Premierships to the “highest ranked team” at the time the games were abandoned, which was Grand Final Round for Div 4-7, Women’s Div 1 and all Juniors and Preliminary Round for Div 1, 2 and 3.
Season 2019/20 Premiers:
Don Rice League: Henley & Grange
Women’s Division 2: Sturt
Under 11 South: Southern Districts
Under 11 North: Northern Districts
Season 2019/20 awarded premierships:
Division 1: Kensington
Division 2: West Torrens
Division 3: West Torrens
Division 4: Southern Districts
Division 5: East Torrens
Division 6: East Torrens
Division 7: East Torrens
Women’s Division 1: Sturt
U17/1: Henley & Grange
U17/2: Sturt
U15/1: Southern Districts
U15/2: Port Adelaide
U13/1: Adelaide
U13/2: Northern Districts

8.3.3.1 In the event that circumstances beyond Baseball SA’s control (e.g. inclement weather), prevents the scheduled finals game(s) being played, and cause game(s) to be abandoned then the highest ranked team will be deemed to be the winner of that final. In week 3 of finals this would mean that the highest ranked team becomes the Premier.
