The historic Australian Women’s Baseball Showcase presented by VALO and Boral will take place this weekend!

But here’s the kicker – the Giants will host all four games.

Adelaide, with the support of the South Australian Government, will host doubleheaders at West Beach’s Bennett Field on May 1 and 2.

Brisbane will no longer hold games due to hosting logistics but will still take on Adelaide in the four games as part of its strong commitment to launching a professional women’s league in Australia.

The new dates come after games had been postponed multiple times due to COVID-19, including most recently the games slated for April 3 and 10 in Adelaide and Brisbane.

Games on May 1 will start at 4pm and 6.30pm local time.

The games on the Sunday will get underway at 10.30am and 1pm.

Tickets will only be available at the gate via card purchases. Adult tickets are $10 and children under 16 are free.

COACHING ACCREDITATION

Attention all coaches; USA Baseball has opened registration for the Level C Certification for coaching in Australia. This can be accomplished by first completing both Level A and B certifications online prior to beginning your Level C. After you complete the online portion of the workshop, you will need to attend one of USA Baseball’s Virtual Community Coaching Clinics. Times and dates for these virtual clinics can be found on their website or by following 'read more'.
