Adelaide Marlins will face Macarthur in the first of four broadcast games on day one of the Australian Junior League Championship at West Beach on Sunday.

The South Australian state champions will face the New South Wales charter from 8.45am local time on diamond one in the first of 16 games being live streamed at baseball.com.au/videos.

Action will get underway 15 minutes earlier on diamond two when the Adelaide Rays face Western Australia’s Central Firebirds from 8.30am.

Pool A features Adelaide Marlins, Canberra, Macarthur, Southern Mariners and Wanneroo Giants.

Adelaide Rays, Brisbane Metro, Central Firebirds, Ryde Hawks and Twins are in Pool B.

The top two teams in each group advance to the semi-finals.

COACHING ACCREDITATION

Attention all coaches; USA Baseball has opened registration for the Level C Certification for coaching in Australia. This can be accomplished by first completing both Level A and B certifications online prior to beginning your Level C. After you complete the online portion of the workshop, you will need to attend one of USA Baseball’s Virtual Community Coaching Clinics. Times and dates for these virtual clinics can be found on their website or by following 'read more'.
