MARLINS CLAIM BRONZE AT #AJLC2021

Adelaide Marlins withstood a late rally from the Wanneroo Giants to secure bronze at the 2021 Australian Junior League Championship in West Beach.

The Marlins prevailed 6-4 on diamond one after jumping to an early five-run lead and denying a comeback from the Giants.

Connor Yeatman shut the door on Wanneroo to seal bronze for the South Australian charter after a Kason King RBI-single provided insurance in the top of the seventh.

The Giants scored a run on an error in the bottom of the seventh but Yeatman hit back with his seventh strikeout – and the 16th for the Adelaide Marlins – to end the game.

RAYS HOLD OFF MACARTHUR, FINISH SEVENTH AT #AJLC2021

Adelaide Rays finished seventh at the 2021 Australian Junior League Championship in Adelaide after denying a late Macarthur rally.

The Rays prevailed 4-3 despite Macarthur scoring a run in the bottom of the seventh and bringing the winning run to the plate.

Carter Roe shut the door with his second strikeout to seal the win.

Starter Ben Ganley gave Adelaide Rays a solid platform.

He struck out 10 across 5 2/3 one-run innings, giving up five hits and four walks.

ESPORTS

Esports is back!

Last year's competitions were a hit with some competitors having the chance to represent South Australia in a State of Origin series against Baseball NSW.

This year we will be playing on MLB The Show 21 as the new game allows cross-platform play which will open our competition to both PS4/5 and Xbox users.
