Have you been watching our Baseball5 showcase games?

The last few weeks we've seen our staff, seniors and now junior players go head to head with Softball SA, with the series currently sitting 2-1 to Baseball.

Thank you to our juniors Mia Rogers, Connor Yeatman, Bethany Lee, Toby Kortekaas, Macy Pratt and Luca Ankeny for representing Baseball SA last night.

Next week, we will see our masters players take to the field for round four.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the South Australia Baseball League's 113th Annual General Meeting has been scheduled to be held on Thursday, 30 July 2020, commencing at 6:30pm at Sport SA, Military Road, West Beach.

This meeting is currently planned to be held in person but is subject to change following current government COVID-19 restrictions at the time of the meeting. The league will advise any changes as they become apparent.

Any special business submissions for this meeting must be sent to the General Manager in writing (gm@baseballsa.org.au) 30 days prior to the meeting, being 30 June 2020.

In accordance with the South Australian Baseball League Inc. Constitution and in line with the By-Laws, nominations are hereby called for the following board positions:

• Affiliations Director
• Marketing Director
• Youth Director

Applications are to be sent to the President (president@baseballsa.org.au) by no later than 5pm, Thursday 9 July 2020.

ESPORTS

Baseball SA’s ESports competition is back and it’s going to be bigger and better!

Starting Wednesday 8th July, this competition will be a season format where you will be able to see all the fixtures, results and the ladder on our website with the top 8 playing off in the finals.

Not only does this competition have a prize for the winner, the top 5 during the regular season will be invited to represent South Australia in a 5-game showdown against the 5 best players from Baseball NSW.

If you want to be a part of this competition follow the link below to register - you must be a Baseball SA member to participate. Baseball SA do offer non-members a $25 annual Esports membership which will allow you to join all of our competitions.
