School Sport Australia 18Yrs & Under Baseball Championship 2024
Published Fri 26 Apr 2024
School Sport Australia 2024 is set to kick-off this weekend and is promised to be another big year for the South Australian team!
This program has been a great bridging competition to keep young athletes playing competitively with their peers whilst transitioning to senior baseball. We have seen many Giants/Bite Alumni go through this squad with notable mentions to a few who have picked up championship awards during their time in the competition:
- Curtis Mead (MVP 2018)
- Will Kortekaas (Golden Arm 2018)
- Jack O'Loughlin (Golden Arm & MVP 2015)
- Nathan van der Linden (Golden Glove & MVP 2011)
The Championship will take place at Narrabundah Ballpark, home of the Canberra Cavalry, from 28 April - 4 May.
If you are unable to make the trip to the Capital, the games will be live scored through GameChanger -- type in 'SA School Sport Australia 2024' to find the team!
