Transfer Procedure for Players in the revSPORT database

From 1st September until the season starts (Round 1), when a member hasn't yet renewed their registration and it is therefore inactive, to transfer Clubs, a member must:

• RENEW their registration via their OLD Club's revSPORT database by choosing the zero dollar Payment Class TRANSFER REQUESTED. At the time of renewal, note down your Baseball SA Member ID number. 
• Advise the NEW Club of the Baseball SA ID number.
• NEW Club initiates a transfer using the player's Baseball SA ID number via revSPORT.
• Both Clubs are then required to approve or decline the transfer via the revSPORT database.
• Once approved by the Clubs it is the responsibility of the player to organise payment of a Transfer Voucher (see below). A Transfer Voucher fee is on top off any playing fees. If in doubt, please speak to the NEW Club prior to transferring.
• Once the Transfer Voucher has been paid, Baseball SA will ensure the member is financial with the League and either approve or decline the transfer via revSPORT.

If a member decides to transfer DURING the season (see Bylaws for Transfer Rules) whilst a member's registration is active, a member must:

• Advise their NEW Club they would like them to initiate a transfer (NEW Club activates a transfer via revSPORT)
• Both Clubs receive an email prompting them to approve or decline the transfer via the revSPORT database.
• Once approved by the Clubs it is the responsibility of the player to organise payment of a Transfer Voucher (see below). A Transfer Voucher fee is on top off any playing fees. If in doubt, please speak to the NEW Club prior to transferring.
• Once the Transfer Voucher has been paid, Baseball SA will ensure the member is financial with the League and either approve or decline the transfer via revSPORT.

Transfer Procedure for Players NOT in the revSPORT database

Players who are NOT active or inactive in the revSPORT database, that is a Country or Interstate Player or a player who has not played since the 2019/20 season, must complete a Paper Transfer Form.

Once a transfer has been initiated by the NEW Club it must be emailed to the OLD Club for completion and emailed back to the NEW Club. Once completed, the NEW Club must email the Form to Baseball SA. All three parties must approve the transfer prior to the member participating in any games. Transfers gain approval when members are excepted by the New Club, financial with the Old Club and Baseball SA and do not have in their possession any property belonging to the Old Club.
