EMERGING SELECT
INTRODUCTION
The Emerging Select U12/U14 Baseball Program is the first step in Baseball SA’s pathway designed to support the next generation of Baseball South Australia's emerging talent. Geared toward dedicated athletes aged 10 to 13, the program provides a structured, high-energy environment focused on preparing young players for advanced competition and long-term success in the sport.
PROGRAM INCLUSIVES
With a strong emphasis on skill development and game awareness, selected players will train under the guidance of experienced coaches who are committed to excellence and growth. The program offers in-depth instruction in hitting, pitching, fielding, and base running, while promoting core values such as leadership, accountability, and sportsmanship.
The program concludes with a series of games designed to give coaches the opportunity to provide players with individualised feedback on their growth and key development areas—ensuring each athlete leaves with a clear understanding of their progress and future focus.
SELECTION
The Emerging Select U12/U14 Program is the ideal launching pad for selected athletes ready to rise to the next level.
Selection for the program will occur through a combination of individual targeted selection and a general tryout opportunity open to all eligible athletes.
Emerging Select commences in August and concludes in October.
Baseball SA are also actively scoping additional representative opportunities for players in the U14 age bracket.
