The Baseball SA Heritage Committee has worked diligently in selecting this year’s inductees with the Board. We invite the community to attend the Hall of Fame induction Ceremony for 2024 to congratulate and celebrate with this years inductees.

Kai Reid Off To Clarendon College

Glenelg Baseball Club’s Kai Reid has become the lastest Australian to commit to college. Reid has announced that he will attend Clarendon College in August 2025.

BEHIND A SENSATIONAL PITCHING PERFORMANCE by Ky Hampton, Sturt has taken a one game lead in the best of three division one baseball grand final series against Henley & Grange at West Lakes, with a 4-1 victory.

Rob's Wrap Up - Capps Medal Presentation 2024

Congratulations to Woodville two-way player Drew Janssen on winning the 2024 Capps Medal as Baseball SA division one’s best and fairest player. Janssen has been a mainstay at the Senators for the past two seasons and is a major reason for the club’s rise to second spot in the minor round this year, with his dominant play at short stop, from the mound and in the batters’ box earning him 33 votes.

Rob's Wrap Up - Finals: Week 2

IT WAS TIGHT BUT Sturt triumphed 5-3 against Adelaide in game one of the division one baseball preliminary final best-of-three series at Mitcham on Saturday. The Angels got the jump with a pair of runs in the opening inning. Max Tracey singled, stole second base and scored on Stefan Welch’s double. Then two bunt hits, to Billy Damon, Henry Cann, saw Welch score.

ON DAY ONE OF the division one baseball semi-finals, Jack Partington hit a two-run single in the bottom of the seventh and final inning to help Henley & Grange beat Port Adelaide 6-5 at West Lakes.

PORT ADELAIDE MANAGED TO survive the scramble for the sixth and final position for the division one baseball finals, with a 2-0 victory over Gawler Rangers at Karbeethan Reserve.

AWC & AYWC Roster Announcements 2024

Please join us in congratulating the athletes who made the roster for South Australia to compete in the Australian Women's Championships and Australian Youth Women's Championships. The two squads will head to Altona, Victoria in April.

WITH THE TOP SIX TEAMS in division one baseball all playing sides out of finals considerations, it was a round of expected results, except Goodwood’s stunning 11-8 victory over West Torrens at Mortlock Park.

IT WAS THE BATTLE BETWEEN the top two division one baseball teams, with Henley & Grange pulling away to win 5-1 over Sturt at Mitcham, with a three-run eighth inning.

Charter Information 2024

Charter baseball is a pathways program that develops players and local clubs rather than focussing on elite. It is a participation based competition designed to extend player skills at a higher level to club ball and exposes athletes to international programs and play through Little League International.
