Baseball South Australia’s 2026 Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, 19 August at the Sport SA meeting rooms.

Voting and representation
Clubs and associations are encouraged to ensure their nominated delegates are represented at the AGM.
Member Clubs may have up to three delegates, with one vote per delegate. Affiliate Members may have one delegate, with one vote.
A quorum of 20 people entitled to vote is required for the AGM to proceed.
Four nominees will be presented for election to the Baseball SA Board: Nathan Green, Kelly Wagner, Sarah Coligan and Marcus Breach. Although the positions are uncontested, each nominee must still be formally approved by voting members at the AGM.
Board Nominees
Profiles for each of the four nominees are provided below.
NATHAN GREEN
Nathan Green has renominated for the Board of Baseball South Australia, bringing senior business leadership, sports governance experience and a strong interest in athlete development and performance pathways.
Since joining the Baseball SA Board in 2024, Nathan has been closely involved in the continued development of Baseball SA's Performance Pathways program. He established the organisation's Pathway Committee, which supports the oversight and development of programs spanning Elite, Women's, Prospects and Emerging athletes, development pathways and Charter baseball.
Nathan brings significant professional leadership experience to the Board. From 2014 to 2023, he led Finance and Operations within a Boston-based hospital system employing approximately 2,500 people and operating with a budget of around $650 million. He is currently an Operating Partner with an Australian private equity group focused on healthcare organisations across Australia and New Zealand and also serves as CEO of an offshore entity based in the Philippines.
His sporting background includes junior pathways baseball in the United States and senior-level cricket in Australia. Nathan has represented Australia in Over-40s Masters Cricket and serves on the Boards of Cricket Australia Masters and the South Australian Masters Cricket Association.
During his time on the Baseball SA Board, Nathan has brought a commercial and strategic perspective to discussions, drawing on his experience leading large organisations and working across complex operational environments. His background in both business and sport allows him to contribute across a range of issues affecting Baseball SA and its future direction.
KELLY WAGNER
Kelly Wagner has nominated for election to the Board of Baseball South Australia, having initially joined the Board as an Appointed Director. She brings professional experience in business leadership, marketing, communications and stakeholder engagement, together with a strong connection to the South Australian baseball community.
Kelly is General Manager of Adelaide-based marketing consultancy Purple Giraffe, bringing experience across business management, marketing strategy, communications, client relationships and organisational leadership.
Since joining the Baseball SA Board, Kelly has contributed across a broad range of organisational matters and brings a considered and practical perspective to Board discussions and decision-making.
Kelly also has an important club and community connection to baseball. Prior to joining the Baseball SA Board, she served on the committee at Kensington Baseball Club and remains closely connected to the sport, with two children actively playing baseball.
Her combination of professional leadership experience and direct connection to community baseball gives Kelly an understanding of the sport from several perspectives, including those of clubs, volunteers, participants and families, while contributing to the broader strategic direction of Baseball SA.
SARAH COLIGAN
Sarah Coligan has nominated to join the Board of Baseball South Australia, bringing experience across communications, stakeholder engagement, partnerships and sports governance.
Sarah is the Founder and Managing Director of Profiler PR and has held senior communications and leadership roles across a range of national organisations and agencies. Her professional experience includes strategic communications, government and stakeholder engagement, sponsorship, partnerships and organisational positioning across both the private and public sectors.
Sarah also brings current Board experience within South Australian sport. She serves as an Independent Commissioner with Basketball South Australia and as a Board Director and Chair of the Welfare Committee with Harness Racing South Australia. She is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Throughout her career, Sarah has worked across sport and major events, including Racing SA and the Adelaide Equestrian Festival. Her involvement has included sponsorship and partnership development, media and communications, and engagement with corporate, government and community stakeholders.
In addition to her sporting roles, Sarah has contributed to a number of community and not-for-profit Boards and committees, providing experience across organisations with a range of community and strategic objectives.
Sarah's combination of communications and partnership experience, sports governance involvement and broader community perspective would bring an additional skill set to the Baseball SA Board as the organisation continues to strengthen its profile, partnerships and connections across South Australia.
MARCUS BREACH
Marcus Breach has nominated to join the Board of Baseball South Australia, bringing more than 20 years of business ownership and management experience, together with a longstanding involvement in baseball and community sport.
Marcus is the founder and owner of Grind and Press, which he established in Adelaide in 2004. Over the past two decades, he has grown and managed the business across multiple locations, with experience spanning staff leadership, financial management, contracts and supplier relationships, compliance and day-to-day operations.
He has also held a leadership role with AFL Max, serving as Food & Beverage Director during the establishment and launch of the sports entertainment venue. The role added experience working within a sporting environment alongside executives, staff and community stakeholders.
Sport has been an important part of Marcus's life. He represented South Australia at junior level in baseball, rugby and hockey and has remained closely involved in baseball through coaching at Goodwood Baseball Club for the past 10 years.
Marcus brings a combination of practical business experience and a strong connection to club baseball. His background provides a commercial and operational perspective, together with an understanding of the role clubs, volunteers, families and participants play across the South Australian baseball community.
