Baseball SA Welcomes New Board Members

Baseball South Australia has welcomed four Board members following the 2026 Annual General Meeting, with Nathan Green, Kelly Wagner, Sarah Coligan and Marcus Breach join as Board members.

The four directors bring a mix of business, communications, governance, sporting and community experience that will support Baseball SA as it continues to grow and develop the game across South Australia.

Nathan Green

Nathan Green has been part of the Baseball SA Board since 2024 and has played an important role in the development of our Performance Pathways.

During his time on the Board, Nathan established the Pathway Committee, supporting the oversight and development of programs across Elite, Women’s, Prospects and Emerging athletes, development pathways and Charter baseball.

Nathan also brings extensive leadership and business experience, having previously worked in senior finance and operations roles within a large Boston-based hospital system. He currently works with an Australian private equity group focused on healthcare organisations across Australia and New Zealand.

His connection to sport also extends beyond baseball, with a background in junior baseball in the United States and senior cricket in Australia. Nathan has represented Australia in Over-40s Masters Cricket and sits on the Boards of Cricket Australia Masters and the South Australian Masters Cricket Association.

We look forward to continuing to have Nathan's experience and strategic perspective on the Baseball SA Board.

Kelly Wagner

Kelly Wagner joined the Baseball SA Board as an Appointed Director and has now been elected.

Kelly is the General Manager of Adelaide-based marketing consultancy Purple Giraffe, where she brings experience across marketing, communications, business management, client relationships and leadership.

Kelly also has a strong connection to baseball at a community level. She previously served on the committee at Kensington Baseball Club and remains closely connected to the sport, with her two children actively involved in baseball.

Her understanding of baseball from the perspective of clubs, families, volunteers and participants, combined with her professional experience, makes her a valuable part of the Baseball SA Board.

We’re pleased to welcome Kelly back for another term.

Sarah Coligan

Baseball SA welcomes Sarah Coligan to the Board.

Sarah brings extensive experience in communications, partnerships, stakeholder engagement and sports governance. She is the Founder and Managing Director of Profiler PR and has worked across a range of national organisations and agencies throughout her career.

Sarah also brings strong experience in South Australian sport. She currently serves as an Independent Commissioner with Basketball South Australia and as a Board Director and Chair of the Welfare Committee with Harness Racing South Australia. She is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Her experience across sport, major events, communications, sponsorship and partnerships will bring valuable skills to Baseball SA as we continue to build our profile and strengthen relationships across the state.

We’re excited to welcome Sarah to the Baseball SA Board.

Marcus Breach

We also welcome Marcus Breach to the Baseball SA Board.

Marcus brings more than 20 years of business ownership and management experience. He is the founder and owner of Grind and Press, which he established in Adelaide in 2004 and has grown across multiple locations.

His experience includes business operations, staff leadership, financial management, contracts, compliance and supplier relationships. He has also worked in the sporting industry as Food & Beverage Director during the establishment and launch of AFL Max.

Marcus has a long connection to sport and baseball. He represented South Australia at junior level in baseball, rugby and hockey and has remained involved in baseball through coaching at Goodwood Baseball Club for the past 10 years.

His combination of practical business experience and understanding of club baseball will be a valuable addition to the Board.

We’re looking forward to having Marcus involved in the next chapter of Baseball SA.

Thank You, Julie

Baseball SA would also like to sincerely thank Julie Wadham following her retirement from the Board.

Julie has made an important contribution to Baseball SA and, in particular, has been a strong advocate for the development and growth of women’s baseball in South Australia.

Her passion, commitment and work supporting opportunities for women and girls in our game have helped create a stronger pathway for the next generation of female players.

We thank Julie for her time, dedication and contribution to Baseball SA and wish her all the very best for the future.
