In an exciting count, East Torrens’ Harry Deliyannis has won the 2026 Capps medal with 34 votes, two ahead of Henley’s Wilson Lee, with Southern Districts’ Brett Hattersley third, on 30 votes. Deliyannis is only the third player from East Torrens to win the award, with his remarkable form from the mound and with the bat played a big part in the Redsox making this season’s finals.

Pre-game favourite Lee led through most of the count but was overtaken by Deliyannis in the final two rounds.
In the women’s count, Woodville’s Alice Brown marked herself us the unquestionable best player in division one, as she polled 33 votes to win from Adelaide’s Angela Mourtzios on 20, with Woodville’s Peyton Daniels third on 19 votes.
While Henley finished minor premiers, the men’s team of the year was dominated by South and Adelaide players, with the Hawks having four players: Gary Grosjean, Brett Hattersley, Jake Campbell and Jacob Morin; and Adelaide three: Ty Forney, Stefan Welch and Max Tracey.
