SA’S DEBUT AT 2025 AUSTRALIAN LITTLE LEAGUE INVITATIONAL

Baseball SA is proud to announce an exciting new opportunity for young athletes across the state—South Australia will be entering the Adelaide Armada in the 2025 Australian Little League Invitational Championships, taking place in Redcliffe, Queensland from July 8–12. This marks the very first time that South Australia has participated in this prestigious tournament.

This team will acts as a vessel down the developmental pathway for aspiring baseballers who are eager to grow beyond club-level play. This new initiative offers young players the chance to sharpen their skills, gain valuable experience in a national tournament setting, and embrace the challenge of competing at a higher level.

Who Can Be a Part of the Adelaide Armada?
To be eligible, athletes must:

  • Be registered in any Baseball SA competition

  • Be Little League age (born between September 1, 2012, and August 31, 2015)

  • Not have played in a Little League Charter team during the recent SA State Championships (meaning if you did Little League Development you are welcome to try-out)

  • We highly encourage South Australian regional players to try out for the team

Selected players will be expected to attend scheduled training sessions and show dedication to their development, teamwork, and willingness to learn.

The estimated cost per player is between $3,500 and $4,000, which includes training, travel, accommodation, and tournament participation.

This is a major step forward in expanding opportunities for junior baseball in South Australia, and Baseball SA is thrilled to launch the Adelaide Armada on this exciting journey. We can’t wait to see this talented group of players represent SA on the national stage!
