PROSPECTS / EMERGING DEVELOPMENT
INTRODUCTION
The Prospects / Emerging Development Squad is a 6-week pre-season development program, running from August to September, designed for players who were not selected for Baseball South Australia's official "Select" programs. This initiative provides a valuable platform for committed athletes to develop their fundamental skills, baseball IQ, and on-field performance ahead of the new season.
PROGRAM INCLUSIVES
With a focus on long-term growth, players receive structured training sessions led by experienced coaches, aimed at improving technique, building game awareness, and enhancing overall confidence. The program prepares athletes not only for the upcoming season, but also positions them for future opportunities and higher-level play.
SELECTION
Whether the goal is to earn future selection or to simply elevate their game, the Prospects / Emerging Development Squad offers the right environment to train with purpose, compete with intent, and grow as a player.
