WOMEN’S SELECT

INTRODUCTION

Women’s Select is South Australia’s premier women’s baseball development program, designed to cultivate and elevate talent from U14 through to open women’s levels. This initiative forms the core of the state's strategy to build a sustainable, high-performance pathway, with the goal of consistently contending for gold at the Australian Women’s Championships and Australian Youth Women’s Championships, while producing national-level athletes including Australian Emeralds and international representatives.

Program Objectives

· Strengthen the pathway for female athletes in baseball across South Australia.

· Consistently compete for top honours at both national senior and youth championships.

· Develop players capable of progressing to international level.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

SELECTION

Women’s Select represents a bold step forward for women’s baseball in South Australia — combining elite development, strategic structure, and long-term vision to ensure a lasting impact on the sport and its athletes.

Women’s Select commences in August and concludes in October.

This program is targeted to female athletes aged U14 to open women’s categories , committed to high-performance baseball.
