SA EOIs OPEN FOR 2025 BARCLAY CUP

After an incredible undefeated run that saw South Australia claim gold at the 2024 Barclay Cup, Baseball SA is thrilled to announce that we will once again be entering the 2025 Barclay Cup — and this time, we’re doing it on home soil!

The 2025 Barclay Cup will be held at Adelaide Angels Baseball Club from 28 September–4 October 2025, bringing the nation’s most talented young female players together for a week-long showcase of exceptional skill, competitive spirit, and sportsmanship.

The Barclay Cup is named in honour of Jacinda Barclay, who made a remarkable contribution to both women’s baseball and women’s sport in Australia. It’s a tournament that celebrates not only on-field success, but also teamwork, growth, and resilience.

Off the back of last year’s success, we’re aiming even higher — and we would love to enter two South Australian teams in 2025 to give more athletes the opportunity to shine on the national stage.

Eligibility:
✔ Registered in any Baseball SA competition
✔ Born between 1 September 2008 – 31 August 2012 (senior age)

Athletes selected for the team are expected to attend training sessions and demonstrate commitment to growth, teamwork, and learning new skills.

This is an exciting step forward for Baseball SA in supporting the development of our young athletes — and we can’t wait to see our girls in action on home turf!
