INTRODUCING THE 2025/26 SABL COMPETITION SUMMARY

Baseball SA is pleased to share the 2025 South Australian Baseball League (SABL) Competition Booklet — a refreshed and forward-thinking guide to the season ahead.

This year’s competition structure is the result of months of collaboration between the Competitions Committee, Baseball Committee, and, most importantly, feedback from our clubs. Your voices have shaped what’s to come — and together, we’ve built a season full of opportunity, growth, and great baseball.

With exciting changes across senior, women’s, junior, masters, and social baseball, we’re focused on growing the game at every level. The 2025/26 structure is set to deliver more action, more pathways, and more ways for everyone to be part of the game.

Key updates include:

• A bigger and better Division 1 schedule, with twilight games and double headers.

• A continued focus on development pathways in both the women’s and junior spaces.

• Expanded opportunities in Masters and the launch of a brand-new Social Baseball League.

• The introduction of new standards and structures to support long-term club growth and competition strength.

Whether it’s the return of twilight clashes, dedicated showcase rounds, stronger development frameworks, or new inclusion standards to guide our future — this season is all about elevating baseball in South Australia.
