Charter Baseball

Charter baseball is a pathways program that develops players and local clubs rather than focussing on elite. It is a participation based competition designed to extend player skills at a higher level to club ball and exposes athletes to international programs and play through Little League International.

 

Each club falls in a zone sanctioned by by Little League International which is how each of the teams are decided. 

 

To be eligible, a player must:

  • have a date of birth between the dates listed below

        - Little League age eligibility - born between 01/09/2011 - 31/08/2015

        - Intermediate League age eligibility - born between 01/09/2010 - 31/08/2013

        - Junior League age eligibility - born between 01/09/2009 - 31/08/2013

        - Senior League age eligibility - born between 01/09/2007 - 31/08/2011

  • be currently playing in the SABL competition.
  • play in 8 total games in ANY SABL age group 
  • try out for the Charter team that the player's current club team is a member.
