Come Together

It’s no secret that not-for-profit groups and associations must constantly seek support to run their programs and service their communities to the best of their abilities. As such an association, Baseball SA believe in communities supporting communities, especially when it comes to women and children.
Last week, Baseball SA were proud to attend and support the inaugural KickStart for Kids event “Come Together”.
KickStart for Kids is an incredible community program which provides over 50,000 breakfasts and 10,000 lunches per week to local kids needing support across 350 SA schools. Along with this, the team runs a school care holiday program for vulnerable and disadvantaged kids which provides everything from mentoring, activities, food, accommodation, clothing and basic toiletries.
“Come Together” focussed on strong women connected to the program and their incredibly powerful, moving stories, emphasising that no matter the background, with support, kids can be anything they want to be and have a very bright future.
