TICKET SALES EXTENDED: Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

We’re excited to announce we are having the second addition of the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Friday May 19th from 7pm. The ceremony will take place at the beautiful Oceanique Restaurant once again.
Last year we inducted 38 lucky recipients from all facets of the game: playing, coaching, media, scoring, umpiring and administration. The night was a great success and a wonderful opportunity for people to catch up with each other after their years of service.
This year we will be inducting 15 nominees into 2 different categories:
- General Section (5 Nominees)
Have given at least 20 years of outstanding service to the game of Baseball in South Australia in one or more of the roles of player, coach, umpire administrator, media contributor or volunteer;
Not have played a Division 1 game in any competition in South Australia in the preceding three years.
- Heritage Section (10 Nominees)
A nominee must have given extraordinary service to the game of Baseball in the past in ways that have significantly advanced the interests of Baseball in South Australia. Nominees to the Heritage Section may include ABF Hall of Fame inductees, MLB players or others whose career in Baseball has taken place wholly or partly outside of South Australia but which have had a prolonged impact on the game in South Australia.
